Hi everyone and welcome to another Telecast Thursday. This week I thought I'd show you one of my recent projects.

I found the pattern for this Cartwheel Mini Quilt in Issue 6 of Love Patchwork and Quilting magazine and was excited to use up some scraps creating it. I typically do appliqué quilts, so a completely pieced quilt was a bit of a change for me. I was pleased with the result and love the bright, happy fabrics.

While I love piecing tops, I'm not so good at quilting them so I was very happy when my friend, Lee of Lala's Lovelys Quilting offered to quilt it for me. Lee does wonderful work on her APQS long-arm quilting machine and I was so glad that the top was quilted - and the quilting looked so much better than what I would have done.
