Quilt Show on a Foggy Day

What do you do on a foggy fall day? Go to a quilt show, of course. 

It was too wet and foggy to do the fall clean-up of raking leaves and putting patio furniture in storage, but it was a perfect day to travel out to Dalemead, Alberta to take in the Dalemead Quilter's Creative Expressions show. It was well worth the trip!

There were prizes every half hour, a large basket draw and a silent auction on miniature quilts. There were several vendors with fabric, thread and kits and I did my part to keep them in business :)

Then there were the quilts: over 100 of them as well as some antique quilts. Quite a display from a small group of quilters! I loved the way the quilts were hung as there was lots of room to admire and photograph them. I took many photos as you can see:
